RULES AND REGULATIONS

Regulation #1
Tubac Historic Cemetery Society, Inc. has a Committee set to follow established procedures and protocols concerning burial within the cemetery grounds. This applies to full burial or burial of cremains.

Regulation #2
All interested parties must file an application to the Committee for any burials or for any work that is desired or becomes necessary to existing burial site within the cemetery grounds.

Regulation #3
All applications must show lineage and ancestry to the area of Tubac, and must have a blood relative already presently buried at the Tubac Cemetery. A list of names shall accompany the application and all applications will include a copy of the death certificate.

Regulation #4
The Committee requests all applicants to donate to the cemetery at time of submitting. Such donations are used for preservation and maintenance of the grounds. (This may be waived in extreme hardship circumstances). The committee and the community thanks you in advance. All payments are final.

Regulation #5
NO LOTS SHALL BE RESERVED. The location of burial is determined solely by the burial committee. Double stacking is mandatory. New plots must be excavated to a minimum of 8 (eight) feet, there are NO exceptions. The applicant and family members are responsible for making their own arrangements to prepare the plots for burial. This is not the responsibility of THCS,Inc. (If necessary please ask Committee for any recommendations of possible outside help that may be available.)

Regulation #6
A Committee member may be present before, during and after closing. The committee shall inspect location for any trash or belongings left behind. The cemetery is not responsible for items left behind or lost. If damage, trash or any debris is found to be left behind, any clean-up required by cemetery maintenance may lead to a fine to associated family, in order to restore the grounds.

Regulation #7
Any operation, construction, grave markings or changes made to the grounds, MUST be approved by the committee first. Please use an application to do so.

Regulation #8
The Burial Committee will arrange cemetery clean ups twice per year preferably in October and April, to maintain and preserve the grounds. The committee, time permitting, will host yearly special events & meetings relating to the cemetery. Events and meetings for the public will be conducted by committee regarding Holiday events, cleanup, and cemetery updates. Notification distribution will be by Facebook, Website, and/or Flyers.

Regulation #9
The burial committee reserves the right to remove weeds, flowers, trees, shrubs or other plants if they become unsightly or if their removal is necessary. This also applies to existing decorations that may also become unsightly or pose unnecessary risk/ hazard to the surrounding plots.
RULES
Alcohol
Alcohol use and consumption is prohibited
Noise
Please be courteous; NO loud noises or music
Between the hours of: 08:00 PM- 08:00 AM
Fire
The use of fire is strictly prohibited
Trash
DO NOT leave any trash or debris behind. You may be fined for any remaining trash on or near you plot.
Changes
Any changes to the grounds are prohibited without prior approval.
Fencing/ Decor
Fencing around plots or close to perimeter fencing is NOT allowed. Any decor that causes debris will be removed.
